BJT represents current and former registered nurses in six departments at Evergreen Medical Center who have been denied rest and meal breaks. After more than 6 years of litigation and a month-long trial in 2023, the parties reached a settlement of claims in November 2024, during Evegreen’s post-trial appeal.  BJT is thrilled to announce that the trial court granted final approval of the settlement on Friday, April 5, 2025.  We anticipate checks will be distributed to nurses in mid-May.
