Telecommunications
Our client, Baxter Air, Inc., sued NOS Communications Inc. and its affiliates in 2005 for violating the Washington Consumer Protection Act in the marketing and sale of long distance phone service to small business customers in Washington. The parties reached a settlement for the class, which was given final approval by the court on June 25, 2008. Past customers received a variable cash refund between September 2008 and March 2009. Current customers $100 off service each month for 12 months beginning in September 2008.
