Practice Description
Janet is a compassionate advocate dedicated to helping individuals navigate the most challenging moments of their lives. As an attorney at Breskin, Johnson & Townsend, PLLC, she brings empathy, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to justice to every case she handles.
Before joining BJT, Janet represented hundreds of clients in complex immigration matters as an Accredited Representative at a non-profit legal service organization. That experience shaped her belief in the power of legal advocacy to transform lives—a belief that continues to guide her work today.
Janet earned her J.D. from Seattle University School of Law, where she was a student advocate in the Workers’ Rights Clinic, served on the Editorial Board for the Seattle Journal of Technology, Environment & Innovation Law, was a member of the Moot Court Board, and held leadership roles in the Latinx Law Student Association. She currently serves on the Latina/o Bar Association of Washington (LBAW).
As a proud Mexican American and native Spanish speaker, Janet remains deeply involved in her community by volunteering at statewide legal clinics and mentoring aspiring law students. Outside work, she enjoys traveling, exploring new places with her friends and partner, and spending time with her family.
